First, I love the look. I love the color -- very true to the picture -- and the shaft is a great length (I've seen ones that were very long and very short for cowboy boots). Also, the rubber soles are amazing -- the day I wore them, it had rained and I was outside all day and they were very sturdy and secure. I did go up half a size, as recommended, because my feet are on the wider side and I like to wear thicker socks in the winter. I was concerned that when I wore them with regular socks, they would feel loose and uncomfortable, but that wasn't the case. I noticed that they were a little long for me, but I didn't feel like they were flopping around my feet. I will also point out that my feet hurt a lot at the end of the day after wearing these. That said, I had been on my feet a lot for several days in a row, so I do not think these boots caused the pain, but they didn't really help either. Read more

I have a few pairs of boots, both fashion style & practical winter style but have never had cowboy boots so I thought I would try these. I chose the tan color because I don’t have any footwear in that color. I ordered these in a size 9 (my usual size is 8.5). The description suggested ordering the boots a size up from your usual size if you wear heavy socks or have larger feet. I already do this with boots, anyway, especially if they have a pointed toe, which these do. They fit me perfectly and were very easy to get on and off. I really like the classic look & the Cuban heel design. I wore them out to run some errands for a couple of hours and didn’t experience any blisters or foot pain at all. In fact, I rather enjoyed the sound they made when walking in them. I felt confident and put-together! I paired them with jeans and a fall top. My husband noticed them right away and complimented how they looked. Honestly, for this price-point, you can’t go wrong. The description states they are made of leather and the embroidered design is pleasant but not over-the-top. I should get a good number of years from them as I use boots like this more for dressing up and for social gatherings than for every day use. Read more
