I have not yet washed this sweater so my review is based solely on trying this sweater on after it arrived. I bought this sweater for an upcoming cruise but do plan to wear it periodically in the summer. It is very lightweight and breathable so it will work well for all but the hottest weather here in Texas. Because of the more open weave that is typical with lightweight sweaters, I will need to take extra care with snags and laundering. The color was accurately depicted. I followed the size chart measurements for this sweater, and it was also accurate. The fit was good - moderately loose but not baggy or oversized.
