Great mattress pad but NOT a "topper"...not thick like in the images

About 3.5 stars because product isn't bad but false advertising is. I was initially going to return this item because as others stated, it is NOT nearly as thick as shown in the image. It is more of a glorified mattress protector/pad than a topper so should not be advertised as a topper. However, I tried getting a 2 inch gel/foam topper and that was too much for me and defeated the purpose of my supportive memory foam mattress. I decided I needed the medium-firm mattress but with the illusion of softness so I tried this out again and I actually slept really well with the combination of my mattress and this mattress pad. It is soft and comfortable and doesn't bunch up or feel plastic-y (I have a 12 inch mattress). Anyway, if you want a comfortable mattress pad or protector, this is great! If you are looking to add a 2 inch or so topper, don't bother. Read more

I was looking for totally cotton with no polyester . This does have some polyester.. but I’m putting cotton sheets over it so I guess it’s OK.
