It’s much easier to sleep without the hose being on me. There is a storage bag, that makes it easy to carry on trips. It does break down. I was tired of getting tangled up in my CPAP hose and not having a place to store my mask and hose during the day. This is a great option for me and the second one I purchased. My first one broke when I knocked my CPAP machine off the nightstand. The metal pieces held up, but one corner piece did not. My fault and not the fault of the product. This product is travel friendly as it comes with a travel bag and will collapse to the size smaller than a small umbrella. I did modify my newest purchase by removing one of the vertical metal sections.
