You'll never buy another pair of pants

Best pants I've ever worn. For background, I'm a veteran, a building engineer, a motorcycle rider, and play airsoft/paintball most weekends. And these are the only brand of pants I own now. Every style and color they offer. I use to be big into Ariat, 5.11, Dickies, and Condor brands. But all of them lacked in a certain way such as fit, look, quality, and primarily price. CQR beats out the pricing of all these brands whilst providing extreme performance and a sleek or rugged formal look. I've worn CQR clothing items for roughly 2-3 years now and have yet to throw out a single pair of pants. They do not tear or wrinkle, the ripstop tech in these pants are far superior than other leading brands. None of mine have faded in color If you purchase ones that say are water resistant, they are in fact relatively water resistant up until a certain amount of washes, if you re treat with the proper type of water proof sealer, they are as good as new. The pockets are endless on these, I can take everything I need for a project in these pants alone. The work pants specifically have a nice leather patch for your utility blade to go nicely into your pocket, whilst the other version are still reinforced in this area where a clip for a tool would be. the tool rings can fit most of your common sized screw drivers or rachets, and the hammer loop is a perfect size to be able to move freely without risk of loosing your hammer. Fit wise, they are nice that they all have a button on the inside to provide a tighter fit with a rather elastic waist band. I've jumped between a 34 and 38 waist sizes a lot lately and none of them have stretched or torn, they all fit as if they were tailored to my size. The only real downside I have seen between all versions is the Velcro style leg and back pockets. The Velcro tends to wither away and loose its tightness after about 3-4 washes. I found this out while riding one day. I use to keep my wallet in my leg pocket. Needless to say I don't anymore after my wallet fell out on the highway. I'd much prefer a zipper or button as even most military/tactical uniforms are going to. The hole located on top of the leg pockets is a nice feature allowing you to carry longer items such as a screwdriver without it awkwardly sticking out. I would like to see a boot cut version rather than a straight leg cut as most people who wear these, will be wearing bulky work boots. In conclusion, so long as CQR is on this route, I will continue to purchase there products, especially there pants. Read more

Great work pants, wished they had more flex in them.

They work great for working in a shop or outdoors. I must have missed reading the description because I thought they would be more flexible for squatting down motions for picking up stuff, but they are really stiff when it comes to that type of movement. Very durable and have held up pretty good so far. Fit was pretty good and true to size. Read more

True to size very comfortable

much thicker material than in other brand. true to size great fit. the zipper is heavy duty and no shrinkage has been noticed. wash dry wear no need to iron them. My son stated they are very comfortable. Do to the heavier material warmer pant good in south Texas because they are cool in the heat and warm on those colder days. These are a color that works for his company colors. The fact that you can get them in waist sizes is a big benefit for us do to the fact that my son is tall and skinny. The only issue is that for his height he really needs a 34 length. They do not make a 30x34, so I get a 32 length. To our advantage these have a front extra boot flap which makes them appear to be the right length despite the back of the pants being slightly short for him. He liked the extra pockets as well. Great work pants that look very nice. Read more

These Pants are very comfortable and practical.

These are excellent lightweight pants. Very comfortable. They can be used for many activities from work, hunting/fishing, working out, fashion, and just for relaxing. The material seems water resistant, strong quality, and with great stretch. These 38 W x 30 L were perfect and true to size. The zipper works well so far. I have worn these to shovel snow in 20 degree weather and I didn't notice any cold. These are all around a very functionable and comfortable pair of pants. Read more

Really Good Work Pants

I work in retail and need comfortable, durable work pants with a lot of pockets to carry around everything I need. I used Dickies cargo work pants for years, and they mostly fit the bill until they inevitably wore out. A few years ago I discovered a pair of work pants from Caterpillar that was only available through Costco's website. They turned out to be nearly perfect; of course, they're no longer available. I've tried many different types of tool belts, but they weigh me down a little and ultimately become a hindrance for a variety of reasons. These pants have a ton of different-sized conveniently located pockets and the fit is reasonably good. I hope they hold up for at least 12-18 months, but I doubt it since the material seems a bit lightweight. There is no reinforcement at the knees, which is disappointing. There is a checkerboard-type pattern on the pants which I don't really like; I'm not sure if it's the style or a function of the water-resistant material, or something else entirely. I am also not a fan of the elastic waist; it makes me feel like I'm wearing pajama pants. I use a belt, but still, it's an odd feeling. What these pants get mostly right, for me, are the numerous open pockets that don't need to be unbuttoned to access whatever is inside. With my Dickies cargo pants, I would have to leave the pockets unbuttoned or unfastened to get my tools or pen or whatever, and it was inconvenient. Small things like that matter, because I like just reaching down and grabbing the thing I need and then putting it back just as easily. These pants are pretty expensive; in fact, they're probably the most expensive pair of pants, work or otherwise, I've purchased in years. Read more

Perfect work pants.

Ordered 38x32 and they fit perfect. Usually in between a 38-40 waist size but these fit great in a 38. Waist band has some elastic to help with fit. Plenty of pockets with good depth. Pants seem durable. Definitely recommend. Read more
