Crabtree Evelyn Skin Quenching Body Lotion Citron Honey And Coriander 8 5 Fl Oz

I have been using this lotion for over a year; I discovered Crabtree & Evelyn's Citron, Coriander, and Honey lotion while staying at DoubleTree Suites, and I immediately fell in love with the scent. The lotion is so light, energizing and refreshing, but it isn't cloyingly sweet like a lot of other lotions. My daughter has eczema, and this lotion really helps with her itching. Of course I didn't purchase the lotion for use on her eczema, that was just a happy coincidence. You don't have to use much of this lotion- a little goes a long, long way in keeping you skin smooth and soft for hours.I had been using lotions from Victoria Secret before I found this lotion, but I found the scents to be far too sweet for my taste. I don't want to smell like candy, and the lotion from Victoria Secret left my skin feeling greasy rather than soft. My husband really likes this lotion as well; if I apply the lotion before going to bed he will sleep extra close to me just so he can enjoy the smell! Used sparingly, this lotion lasted several months; and Amazon had the best price by far. I would honestly bathe in this lotion if I could; it really smells that good! So I first heard about this product from a coworker who let me borrow some lotion and I really liked how it smelled. I was going to buy it on the actual Crabtree & Evelyn website but I figured I'd see if I could get it for cheaper. Amazon came through in the clutch because buying it on here is cheaper than the website. The lotion arrived pretty quickly in the mail, so I didn't have to wait around to smell good. The bottle comes in the box that is shown and then it has a little cap so it doesn't accidentally spill. The lotion itself is great. I personally love natural smells and this hits the jackpot. It's Citron, Honey & Coriander so its a very light and fresh smell. It's light (it doesn't feel oily or heavy) but it doesn't go away to quickly so that's nice. This body lotion is simply the best body lotion I've ever used. I often go without using cologne when I use this lotion (I find most of them too overpowering anyway). Like most other people, I discovered it at a Hilton Hotel (I managed to get about 8 of the sample sizes!) however that was never going to be enough. Imagine my surprise to find the full size version here on Amazon! As for the scent, It's citrusy but to my nose, It definitely has woody notes, maybe that comes from the coriander and honey. It's a very comforting scent. Clean, woody, earthy, masculine, versatile (as in - you can wear it throughout the day without offending anyone's nostrils). We liked the formula that you get complimentary at a popular hotel chain that we stayed at. The complimentary bottle at the hotel had a very mild scent and a light "thin" texture. The formula that I bought on Amazon - which is probably the premium version -- has a stronger scent and a thicker richer lotion. For me, it's a stronger scent and a thicker (stickier) lotion that I like. I can tell it's a good product, just not what I was looking for. Yes, I'm a guy. Bought as hand lotion, it's better as body lotion as it's a little greasy. I feel like the oils linger too long, then I flip my hair and that starts looking greasy. Love the scent - better on body! Should've bought the specific hand cream - my fault, not the lotion's fault. Read more

I got hooked on this lotion from a sample at a hotel where we stayed last summer. I grabbed every tube from our room and our kids' room, and when they started running out, I was very motivated to get more! Love the smell, it's not overpowering - a nice lemon and honey scent that smells like a really nice spa. Soaks in nicely and is never greasy or irritating. This product worked very well on my wife's dry skin, but we had to toss it because the strong scent caused an allergic reaction to my eyes and nasal passages. Too bad they don't have a hypo-allergenic version. Read more
