Good Company that likes there products, feels like good build quality, is easy to use and help clean well. The battery does die quickly but with extra batteries it does work well. Portability and suction power is good. Read more

This thing is a little beast. I got it for my wife, cause she wanted something lightweight and she liked the fact that it went with my battery system so she had plenty of batteries to be able to switch out one vacuuming. I typically only even use it on power level one and two because power level three sucks to my carpet so hard itβs hard to push. The only thing you will have to do is dump it a lot because the canister is small and the vacuum works good and for people wondering yes you can use any of the craftsman batteries with it. I have bigger 5.0 that I have put on it and it works no problem. Read more

This the third cordless stick vac I've tried, the other two being a Moosoo and a Hover. The Hover worked reasonably well for a year or so, but it was difficult to clean and had a short battery life. While it worked, it did a fairly decent job. The second, after watching endless reviews was the Moosoo, which turned out to have a short run time and poor suction, and which finally broke a small part that made it inoperable. The Craftsman vac was going to be my final cordless stick vac purchase before I threw in the towel and just lived with the corded versions. I was, however, very pleased. Some of these cordless vacs can run to many hundreds of dollars, but I can't imagine that any of them are going to perform better. This vac is nearly as good as a corded conventional vac. It has a long run-time and great suction. I bought it partly because I already owned another Craftsman cordless tool (a pole saw), which is on the same battery system and which also turned out to be a surprisingly good tool. Since I have the additional battery, I just swap out batteries when one runs low, and I never have any down time. I liked it so much, I recommended the sweeper to my sister, who is also quite pleased. To sum up, it's well made, has good run-time, good suction, stands upright by itself, and is reasonably easy to clean. I haven't seen it tested by Consumer Reports, but would hope they would rate it highly. Read more

I really wanted to love this vacuum, but while it's OK and gets the job done, I don't LOVE it. I do like it well enough to keep it. What I like: The headlights! Oh my, if you've never had a vacuum with headlights, let's just say it's "enlightening" as to how much dust and dirt is on your floor. Or in my case, pet hair, since I have four cats and a dog. The fact that it stands on its own is great. I had a stick vacuum (different brand) before this and made the mistake of thinking I could balance it against the wall while I moved a throw rug, but it crashed to the ground and piece of plastic broke off, leaving me with an expensive dust buster (the vacuum head would no longer stay attached). This one does stand on its own, and that's great, and it's one of the reasons I specifically bought this one. I also like that the battery charges separately, because if I wanted to buy a second battery, I guess I could have two, one in use and one charging. I haven't looked into whether replacement batteries are available, but I assume they are. What's just OK: It picks up fairly well. One of the main things I need to pick up is cat litter and general fur and dust, and it does that OK. It won't pick up bigger bits, but something as fine as cat litter, it'll pick up. However, just today I vacuumed around the litter box, then went to vacuum on my porch and a bunch of litter spilled out from the vacuum head, so I guess it didn't get sucked all the way into the little dust cup (the dust cup wasn't completely full, but maybe it was clogged with fur or something). Battery life is about to be expected. If the battery is fully charged, I can vacuum for about 30 minutes, which is enough to hit just about every room in my house. What could be improved: The dust cup (for me) is really hard to get off and back on, especially back on. You have to really give it some muscle to get the thing off, and it says to just align it and push it until it clicks to return it, and I always have a problem. I wish that was easier. It's kind of loud. I am comparing it to the brand I had before, the one that broke because it wouldn't stand on its own, but when I first started this one, I thought it sounded more like a weed whacker than a vacuum. Maybe it's the "Craftsman" name that made me think that, but it is louder than the one I had before. All in all, I do recommend this little vacuum if you need a stick vacuum for quick cleanups. If you have alot of V20 tools, this vac is awesome. Works best with 4.0ah battery, but really strong suction, easy to clean filter housing and filter, picks up ALOT of even fine dust and dirt. Great for dog hair too. As far as the wheels falling off in other reviews, mine did twice, BUT they are not snapped in properly from factory, there are 4 tabs, 2 are different size, 2 big, 2 slightly smaller, look closely and line them up properly with correct size slots when you snap wheels back on and they'll never fall off again! Using the beater bar really chews through battery on high setting, but detached, battery life is good, but if you have other v20 batteries it's not an issue, just swap them out. I love being able to attach carpet head without the pole, it's great for car mats and I use this a few times a day cleaning out 3 robot vacuums, I'm really happy with power, weight and ease of cleaning out dustbin.
