This is my second purchase, and it is wonderful, just as it was when I was a child in the '50s. I hope Cream of Rice stays available on Amazon because the supermarkets in my area, seemingly in unison, stopped selling it. Then, at about the same time, the supermarkets added Grits (!?). This is Northern New York! We never had grits up here. I never even tasted them until a hotel stay in one of the Carolinas. Well, that is how the monster stores work these days. With all of their shelf space there is less selection than ever. Anyway, this girl is grateful to be able to buy this old staple. In a day when marketing is removing 'niche' products and is herding us toward the selections they believe we all want, I can still get Cream of Rice here. Thank you, KeHE and Amazon. Read more

The absolute BEST preworkout (and presumably post workout though I don't use it post workout) meal a bodybuilder can use. I wake up every morning at 4AM and am at the gym by 5AM. This stuff is extremely easy to make and only takes a few minutes. It absorbs very quickly and gives me the energy I need to get through a 2hr session. I eat it like this: Bring 2 cups of water to a roaring boil Add 1.5 servings of Cream of Rice STIR THE ENTIRE TIME Once the water is absorbed I add 1.5 tablespoons of peanut butter and some sweetener Literally my favorite meal of the day :) Read more
WE always liked Cream of Wheat but now with the Celiac we have to eat GF. With the Cream of Rice (which we cannot find in any stores in the south) you can add what you want and enjoy. Glad we can get it on Amazon. Read more
I absolutely love this product. Unfortunately, living in a small community I can't find it at my local grocery or Wal Mart store. When I order, I order at least 6 boxes and they keep wonderfully. If you like cream of wheat or grits, you will love this. It cooks quickly and has a wonderful flavor. Especially good if you have gluten issues. I add a pat of butter, or cheese or an egg cooked sunny side up :). Wonderful. Read more
