This thing is quite the looker and makes such a bold statement and I was so excited to recieve it...but, I have a toddler in the house so I'm going to have to wait on installing this for the long haul. Unfortunately the metal edges are just too thin and sharp to have around an active human who thinks he's a flying monkey super hero. Daddy fears major gashes. Multiple ones. He might not be wrong. While I love everything Creative Co-Op makes I'm such a fan of all their designs this one just doesn't work for me at this stage in my life. So, if you won't have kids around in a room (or, let's be real, clumsy adults) this will make a unique and bold table for your stylin' pleasure. Howerever, if you do have accident prone individuals in your life, and that might very well be you, do think long and hard before you buy to make sure this works for you. I image for some tape or bumpers might help, for example, if you don't mind the look. Also, while it's very well crafted and very well boxed for shipment and an extremely easy install, all wonderful things, I noticed that one of the metal rivets came undone in the base that connects to the top. It's not so much that one tie loose affects functionality unless you plan to be hurtling this thing, in which case I advise caution, and it's not a visible flaw obviously, but it's just something to note that could happen. I really want to give this table the full five stars it deserves as it is such a looker of a piece I guess I can't this time. Womp womp. This coffee table is very rare and beautiful. It definitely gives off new York city modern! It's very stylish and its a very tasteful piece of furniture. There's no assembly required. It's very solid and heavy because it's definitely made to last. It's fashionably painted metal and i love the look. So far, I've recieved so many great compliments within the past 3 days that I've had it for. I can't believe how nice it makes my space looks. Its really a beautiful piece. This is for anyone looking to modernize their look in just about any sized space as this is an elegant, chic, and modern piece. It screams fancy! I could see this as a very beautiful house warming gift for that friend with a very tasteful and stylish personality. I appreciate it so much when I order something and exceeds my expectations, this is a really nice coffee table. I say that because it's well made using quality materials and I expect it to last a long time. It has a good weight to it, so it's sturdy. The design is awesome for modern, farmhouse, industrial, or contemporary decor. The metal edge is not sharp enough to cut anyone, but I would pad the edge if you have toddlers.
