LOVE the purple! I'm 5'7 280lbs and am between a 3x/4x depending on brand. I think I lean more towards being pear-shaped. I ordered this in a 4x and I think it fits me great. It's roomy enough to wear a hoodie or thick sweater or layers underneath, but not roomy enough to be considered "too big". It's not that heavy feeling. I do wish it had a layer of soft lining, as it's pretty much the outer material and the inside has a thin silky lining same with the hood, so I don't think it would be that warm of a coat/jacket. Where I am we only get mild winters though. The quality seems good, I am a little concerned on the belt though, or maybe I just need to learn how to tie it better. I'm in the age group that loves the return of a trench coat. This coat was perfectly sized, loose enough to wear a thin sweater underneath and full enough below the belt to sit in it. Well made and styled. I only gave it 4 stars because the light color I choose was more beige than camel or brown than shown on my phone and I only sat on my sofa to test the fit. Wrinkles showed because of the light color. I would recommend purchasing this trench jacket in a dark color because the quality was very good for its price. Read more

Runs a little small for size. Wrinkles are very set, remaining after following wash and hang dry instructions. Had to be steam pressed. Red color is burgundy. In spite of all that I do like the coat. Read more

I was highly impressed by the quality of this coat. I owned a London Fog years ago, and decided I wanted another trench coat, so I researched all available, and thought for the price if it was crap, I’d send it back. It is made well, with good fabric. The only issue and its slight, the buttons were tough to unbutton at first but when I rebuttoned it, they slide in a bit easier. I would recommend if you want a decent trench at a reasonable price.
