I've been shaving my face for about 25 years. I've tried the big name blades, the viral blades the old fashion blades, if it exists then I've tried it extensively. Cremo makes the best. There are some safety razor setups that offer a great shave and I would compare cremo barber grade products to those, but easier to use for the average person. No nicks, cuts, ingrown hairs, etc. Just an all around great shave at a really decent price point. Read more

Yeah, I bought shave kit to experiment. I needed a new razor, so I went for the kit. I shave most of my face and my head. The shave is terrific, but I don't think it's the Cremo blades that make the difference. The Schick Hydro 5 is just as good as the Cremo blades. So, for me, I think it's definitely the shave cream and after-shave balm that make the whole experience worth the purchase. In other words, you could use Cremo's products with similar razors and I think you'd get the same results. Definitely a good starter kit to see if you like their products. Read more

I can be somewhat of a nerd when it comes to what I choose to shave with. I have tried almost every razor on the market. 3 blades, 4 blades, 5 blades. I have tried the subscription services because I was tired of spending over $20 for 4 razors that were good the first 3 shaves. But after that you could tell it had lost 20% of its sharpness. In a month or less it was time for the trash. I saw these and decided to give them a shot. Unbelievable is all I can say. I have never had as close of a shave as I do with these razors. I liked them so much ai bought my 3 sons the same set. Don't try these razors because if you do your old razor brand is going to be history. The only problem with them is when the wife felt my face she now will only use my new razor. Had to buy her one too. Excellent product. Read more

Best feature: ORIGINAL shave cream formula!

Cremo was acquired by Edgewell in 2020. Shortly after that, the packaging of the shave cream was changed (black cap instead of color-coded to correspond, approximately, to the scent; and beige background rather than white)—*as was the formula*. There are many, many pieces of customer feedback—both on cremocompany-dot-com and on the various listings here on Amazon—which consistently report that the new formula is much, much worse: less concentrated, less able to protect against nicks, less pleasant scent (compared to the original citrusy one), and much runnier. Basically, worse in every possible way. The bottle in this kit has a manufacture date of 2022, but it is the original packaging and scent. Every single other listing on Amazon I've tried ordering—no matter what the product photos show—ends up being the new (inferior) version. The original formualtion is very, very hard to find. For that reason alone, this kit is worth buying. Read more
