I noticed something that works for me: if I brush my teeth about 1 hour before using the strips, I don’t feel any discomfort at all. I had a great experience with this teeth whitening kit overall. It worked very well for me. About a third of the way through the box I started getting compliments on how white my teeth looked, which really impressed me. I could see a real difference in brightness and feel more confident smiling. My only note is that the strips did make my teeth sensitive if I used them back-to-back every day. I found better results and less discomfort by spacing out treatments and taking a couple of nights off between uses. Because I needed those breaks, it took a bit longer to finish the full course, but the end result was worth it. This was my first time trying whitening strips. I know they’re very popular, but unfortunately they weren’t the best fit for me personally. I have sensitive enamel, and after using the strips a few times (every other day), I noticed increased sensitivity to hot and cold drinks. The whitening effect was quite subtle — maybe about one shade lighter — and not very noticeable for me. If you don’t have sensitive teeth, these strips may work well for you. Love these! I'm on day 10 and already notice a whiter smile and best of all, no tooth sensitivity! I used to hate the other whitestrips because my teeth are so sensitive that anything cold, even air, would be so uncomfortable after I used them! I found this kit to be gentle on teeth and gums while it effectively whitened my teeth. It did take 3 or 4 days before I started to see it was whitening. So persist with patience! I am doing a second course and my teeth look better than ever. Very pleased with this product. Read more
