im 5'5 and 155 lbs, got xl because i like my pants to be loose around the waist. It was hard to find this style with a waist size that would fit me well, I am a pant size 34-36 and cant stand wearing elastic banded pants that pinch my waist, these don't! they are a bit long but work well with platform sneakers or cinching them tight at the leg. the fabric feels fine, and i see no defects in the sewing so far.
