The screw heads are kind of soft, and fail. -0.2 stars, but rounds up to a five. PERFECT monitor for 3d modeling software. Plenty of real estate for the central work area and the associated controls on the side. Nice, clear, bright display (I'm toning down the brightness, next). I don't know the refresh rate and don't feel like looking at the specs, so I can't comment on gaming applications. A comment on the stand, it's not adjustable. I'll see if I can find a wall mount for the four screw-mounts, 80mm apart. My existing mount was 100mm -- more standard. Bizarre statements in the instructions, as is par for the course, but irrelevant. I am 0% unhappy with my purchase. Makes me really look forward to these li'l guys putting out that Type 004 carrier. Does very well performs better then what I would have expected. I had a different monitor that did a good job but I wanted to get a better gaming experience. The old monitor I had was a 27 inch 60 hertz at 1080p. Im a Xbox gamer and just wanted to see the performance I could get out of the monitor and Xbox. So I picked up this Sansui 24.5 inch gaming monitor with 1440 p aka 4k resolution with 120 frames per second which with my Xbox series s next gen Xbox that’s the max fps you can run on Fortnite the only issue I have with this is I can either run 120 fps with 1080 p or 1440 p with 60 fps on Fortnite. If you play story mode games or not as competitive games you can use 1440p and have a very good gaming experience and if you want to get 120 frames per second you can easily switch it back in your xbox settings don’t worry your screen will go black during the process of switching your settings from 1440p to 120 frames per second or vice versa. It’ll only be for maybe a few seconds then it’ll come right back up and you’ll be able to game. I’m currently building my own gaming pc for streaming and YouTube as well as other things and if you are also wanting to switch you can use this monitor for it as well I believe you’ll be able to get roughly 180-200 frames per second and you should also be able to use the 1440p resolution but the monitor does have a 1 millisecond response time which will be great. This monitor was even cheaper and a better quality then my other one was and this Sansui monitor runs amazing I got it on sale for roughly 150 bucks I’m gonna give this a 10 out of 10 I highly recommend picking this up. Really love this monitor! The curved screen looks great and gives a wide view. The display is very clear and sharp, which makes it perfect for trading and multitasking. Colors are bright and it’s easy on the eyes even after long hours. Definitely worth the price — highly recommend! Read more
I purchased two of these monitors back in April. I left them in sitting in the Box that they arrived in for several months because i needed time to break down my old set up and build the new one. Long story short, once i was ready to build the new set up i opened the amazon box and pulled the two monitor boxes out. Both boxes looked identical, and so did the monitors, I didn't notice a difference until i connected the monitors. One monitor looked a little blurry, so i checked the display resolution and realized one of the monitors did not come as advertised! The resolution shows 1920 x 1080P when it should be 2560 x 1440P. I missed the cut off date to return these which was in June so I'll have to cut my losses. Either way i don't like dealing with the whole return process anyways, my schedule is way too busy. I just warn future buyers to beware of this issue so it doesn't happen to them. Read more
The media could not be loaded. The monitor is bright and clear with fantastic viewing angles. Perfect for light to medium gaming. Heavy gamers will need to get the version with a higher refresh rate and Hz. This is perfect for WFH persons, multitaskers who usually use 2 screens and students. The speakers are not great, but thats is to be expected from a monitor. I love how big the screen is highly recommend. I was playing a movie while I was working and it was able to see and work without having tiny little windows open. Read more
