As far as filters go this one really surprised me with its durable construction. I live in a tropical location and my pool gets a lot of debris after storms and with sun all year long it’s a constant battle against algae. This filter does a good job of catching debris and small pieces of undesirable material and traps them well. The filter fit our old school 1200 style canister for our outdoor pool with no problem. When I see the canister pressure gauge looking a little high I removed the filter cartridge and spray it out real good with the hose. Then I put it back. This filter lasts a solid year for me which is a long time for my pool requirements. I would but this product again. Read more
