I only got two...
This replacement film fixed my DualSense with a non-working D-pad, and the part itself did exactly what it was supposed to. The button presses registered immediately after reassembly, and there was no delay or mushiness in input. It fits cleanly and doesn’t require any modification, which is more than I can say for a lot of generic flex replacements. That said, this is not an easy repair. You have to fully disassemble the controller, which includes prying off the faceplate, disconnecting the internal battery, removing the internal board, and carefully threading this new film into place without creasing it. It’s not soldered, but the routing is tight, and there’s real risk of tearing or damaging something else if you haven’t done it before. The kit includes three, which gives you some room for error, but don’t let the low price fool you into thinking this is a casual fix. If you're experienced with controller repairs or follow a detailed teardown guide step by step, it's completely doable. If not, you're going to spend more time troubleshooting reassembly than replacing the actual part. Read more
