My feet get cold in the winter here in the northeast and I'm always looking for warm socks for around the house. Some seem nice and are soft, but are thin after a few washes and wears. These are nice. They are a double layer. The outside is like a knit chenille which is warm and soft and the inner layer is more fluffy, like a typical single-layer fuzzy sock. They aren't the too thick fake Sherpa ones. I like those but they aren't that soft and don't confirm to your feet well, so they slip around. These stay put. I also like that they don't have tight ankle elastic that can leave a mark. These even have anti-slip on the soles so when my cat darts out and tries to trip me (!) I don't slip. They really thought of everything with these. I am here ordering another pack! I would like these also in a style that came up the ankle a little bit, but so far, they are the best ones I own.
