This is the absolute best kettle on the market, and I will sing its praises endlessly. I like it soooooo much, I actually bought a second one for work. It heats quickly and there are no plastic bits anywhere inside that come in contact with the hot water. That’s surprisingly difficult to find. It heats up the water quickly and is easy to keep clean. The lid can get a little hot, but it’s easy to avoid by just holding the handle when you use it. It looks nice on the counter. It is, of course, versatile, as it can be used by the coffee drinkers, the tea, drinkers, and the ones who want to make convenience foods. It’s an absolute work horse and it’s cute. And I just can’t say enough about how happy I am with the design and that there aren’t any plastic bits on the inside. If you’re looking for a kettle, I would put this one at the top of your list, especially if avoiding hot plastic near your food is your priority. Read more
This is a great little kettle. It is so fast I actually also use it to get soups started and for most everything else that can get a boost from the water. We have had it for a few months and use it daily+. It is fast, cool to the touch on the outside, super easy to use and the auto shut-off makes it nice n safe. 1 Liter capacity is good for most cooking tasks. Kettle works well at boiling water pretty fast. The button presses, but may be hard if using one finger. The stainless steel on the inside and plastic cover on the outside look nice and are strong enough for boiling water. Stainless Steel and no plastic contact were super important to me. This is an overall great kettle for the price of this bigger size kettle. Design looks really nice and minimal. The only con about this kettle is that the lid does open all the way back so for cleaning it’s a bit annoying since it only opens three quarters of the way. The size is perfect for individuals or when having people over to serve tea. The heating speed is quick and quiet. Read more
The media could not be loaded. Love this non plastic stainless steel electric kettle. Spent so much time looking for a kettle that didn’t have any plastic in contact with the water (nothing, not on the lid or viewing measurements) it was nearly impossible to find one. This one is pretty and durable - good quality, works as planned, heats up pretty fast (1-2 mins depending on how much water). Easy to clean (I only use it for water, so just need to wipe outside) and at a great price point for a well known household brand. I bought this for Xmas gifts for my mom and mother in law so they can start removing plastics from their kitchens too.. Ps. one call out is that there’s no measuring window, but that was ok for me, since it keeps the integrity of the jar (all stainless steel, no plastic!) and that was the main reason for getting this. This hot water kettle has a sleek, attractive design and looks great on the counter. I purchased it to replace a very similar-looking model that stopped working after a short time. The main issue with the previous kettle was a poorly designed switch that seemed to get stuck, and no longer turned on. This model is a big improvement in that area. It has a true on/off switch that is easy to click and feels solid, which gives me much more confidence in its durability and day-to-day usability. That said, it is a 1-liter kettle, and I do find it smaller than I would prefer. It barely holds about two cups, so if you frequently need more hot water at once, the size may be a drawback. As long as you’re comfortable with a smaller capacity, this kettle is a good product so far and functions well. Read more
