I bought this to go in my son’s 3.2 ft.³ Frigidaire refrigerator and his dorm room at college. It fits on his shelf in there and he loves it because he can just pour himself water whenever he wants and fill up his water bottles without having to go down the hall to the water bottle station. And he has cold water whenever he wants it. It’s easy to fill. Easy to replace filters. The functionality is super easy. He loves it. He said it’s probably the best thing I got him besides the paper towel holder. He said the water taste great there’s no smell. There’s no weird taste it taste just like our actual Culligan water here at home. It was a great value. We got it on Amazon prime days. It’s easy to clean out. The water quality is great. He likes this one also versus the jug that you have to pour at first, he wasn’t too keen on this version, and this version was a little bit bigger so he was a little apprehensive, but then once he set it up, he realized how easy it was to just flip the switch on the bottom and fill up his water bottles in his cups and now he’s loving it, and he actually thanked me for it several times so I know I got it right haha Sometimes it’s those little things that are a big win! I've had both the Brita and Pur Plus water filter pitchers for years, but once I found out that Culligan (the water experts) recently acquired ZeroWater, and were releasing new and improved filters along with their latest pitchers, I just HAD to be one of the first to try it. I preordered this Culligan with ZeroWater Technology 12-Cup Water Filter Pitcher, and literally a year supply of filters...the price for everything was pretty steep, but can you put a price and pure, delicious water? Nope! The day it all arrived, I was like a kid on Christmas day, pulling everything out of the box, reading the instructions, and getting started. Once of the very first things I noticed was how FAST the water goes through the filter...like seriously WOW it's quick. Like I said, I've had Brita and Pur in the past, and they were both painfully slow at filtering water, and that's after soaking the filter in water and running a few cycles of water through them first to get rid of all the carbon. So yeah, the water goes through the process QUICK, and what's more is the purity and taste...this pitcher comes with a meter to measure how pure this water is and y'all it was seriously at 0 and here we are almost a month later and it's STILL AT ZERO! Impressive! Not only is the water pure according to the meter, but it actually tastes pure as well. No chlorine taste or smell, no anything...just pure delish water! The Culligan with ZeroWater Technology 12-Cup Water Filter Pitcher functions and performs as advertised, and with filters that last this long, and are this amazing at filtering out the bad stuff, I'd say I'm definitely getting a good bang for my buck. Thank you to the amazing folks at Culligan – I wish y'all had come out with this sooner! LOVE IT! Read more

I bought this Culligan pitcher with ZeroWater Technology for my sister in Chicago, where her tap water measures about 138 TDS. She has always been most concerned about lead in her water, so the certified filtration was a big deal for her. When she tested her old Brita with the included TDS meter and saw it was not really filtering, she tossed it immediately. The water quality is incredible. We served it to our family over Thanksgiving and several people described it as smooth and silky. It genuinely tastes different in the best way. Some reviews mention filter life or quality, but at her TDS level the filters have been lasting 25 to 40 gallons, which works out to about 4 to 6 weeks for a household of two. For the level of purification it delivers, including the fact that it is the only pitcher filter that reduces total PFAS, it feels completely reasonable. The pitcher is sturdy, easy to use, and produces water that tastes like it came from a high end system. Fantastic upgrade and an even better gift. Read more

I had a similar ZeroWater 22 cup dispenser that used the original, screw-in filters. I liked it just fine EXCEPT that sometimes I could get the threads on the filter to match up perfectly, so that when I screwed the filter on, some water would leak directly into the reservoir (i.e., would bypass the filter), resulting in unfiltered water mixing with the filtered water. When I saw that Culligan had bought the Zerowater company and redesigned the filters to drop in, rather than screw in, I decided to switch to the newer model. Same size, better design than my older model. The dispenser itself is great -- sleeker and the spigot works fine, and I also like the integrated TDS meter, which lights up when the filter starts wearing out and water contaminants exceed 6 ppm. I also like the effortless experience of dropping in the new filters. HOWEVER -- what other customers have complained of is true: these new filters don't last nearly as long as the old ones, and they cost more! The original screw-in filters, which were larger, lasted me about 5 weeks, whereas the new drop-in filters last barely 3 weeks. So, overall, it's now costing me nearly double to filter my water and the only additional benefit is the convenience of not having to wrestle with the filter when I change it. My advice for anyone who already has, and loves, a Zerowater pitcher or dispenser that uses the original, screw-in filters: don't switch, unless you, too, have trouble getting the filter to screw in perfectly. As long as you can buy and use the original filters, save yourself some money by staying with the original design. But anyone thinking about switching from a different brand of filter pitcher -- you probably won't find anything that does a better job of filtering tap water. ZeroWater removes all the bad stuff and produces water with a clean, sweet flavor, even if your municipal water is pretty bad (my area's water comes out of the tap at around 350 ppm of contaminants). The dispenser is sturdy and attractive and works flawlessly -- it's great to have clean water without having to junk up the landfill with discarded water bottles. Read more
