I do like these casual pants. I particularly like the cinching at the ankle. It's unique. I give these a 3.5 rating for the following reasons. The not so good is: 1. Sizing is inconsistent. I purchased the blue and green. Blue pair has a 28" waist and 26" length. Perfect for ankle length. The green pair has a 29" waist and 28" length. This pair sits awkwardly at the bottom of my ankle. I prefer the sizing on the blue pair. In addition, the green pair arrived completely waded up in a ball in the packaging. I'm thinking they were a return and that's how they were put back in the package and then instead of being re-folded, they were just shipped that way to me. They're so wrinkled it's ridiculous. I may exchange them. 2. The fabric is a bit scratchy and stiff. The directions say do not dry them so not sure how to soften them up. Plus they're 100% cotton so they will shrink. I personally am not fond of the pockets placement myself. Just personal preference. I ordered the medium size. For reference, I weigh around 145ish and carry most my weight in my rear and thighs. I didn't find them to be huge on me but roomy and maybe a bit big but very comfortable. FYI the tags are attached at the ankle and not at the waist. Edit: After trying these on again (the green ones) they fit much larger than the blue ones. I measured the thigh and leg area and comparing them, I think the greens ones should be marked as a Large instead of a Medium. So I will be returning them. Read more
I got these in black, I saw a girl on Lemon8 that had these in all the colors so gave them a try. I will be wearing them all the time! They are a heavier crepe like material. Not thick or heavy but not thin either. I am 5'4 about 150 pounds and I got a medium, probably could have done a small but I like the fit of this size. Read more
