I ordered 2 sizes in different colors. The blue color is somewhere between chambray and a French blue. It’s a puffy cotton gauze, lightweight but not see-through. I didn’t like the lack of pockets. I am usually a medium, but the medium looked frumpy on me, so I sized down. The small fit well because it’s on the flowy side. Be aware that the other colors are different fabrics. For example the pink fireworks pattern was a smooth, sleek and thin rayon viscose, and looked more like a dress you would wear out. The hot pink pattern felt soft but did NOT look like the picture. The photo makes it seem pink with some lavender/fuschia parts. Indoors, the pink was so dark it looked like raspberry leaning towards crimson, and the purple was so dark it was hard to notice, meaning the overall impression of the dress was like red, gold, and white. Not what I wanted. Ultimately I didn’t keep these because I didn’t think they were worth the price. They look like cheap dresses to me. They are fine for the beach or pool, but I wouldn’t wear them for any other reason. Read more
This dress is ADORABLE and will be a great addition to my summer wardrobe. I've bought 2 and might get more! I love the lightweight--but not flimsy--cotton fabric, which will be cool in our hot, muggy southern coastal weather. It's a great length for me at 5'5", hitting about 3-4 inches above the knee. It's not huge and billowy but actually looks and fits like a dress, not a beach coverup. I'm a size 6 (small) and the small fits perfectly, did not shrink (although I hang to dry, not in the dryer). No gaping at the armholes. Very flattering! At my "more mature" age, it straddles the line between modest and stylish, which is hard to do. I am so pleasantly surprised with this dress! Read more
So light weight and comfortable, I got so many compliments on it! Easy to throw on with sandals for a walk on vacation, over a swimsuit at the beach or pool, or just for wearing around the house. It is truly gauzy, so it’s not stretchy, but the cut allows for a very loose fit around the belly/waist/hips. The buttons allow for cleavage coverage but can be opened easily. The color was exactly as pictured, I love it and want to order more colors! Read more
