Cute but thin Corduroy skirt. Not denim. Consider sizing up.
This is a cute skirt but not the skirt I was expecting. It is advertised as a denim skirt, but it is corduroy. There is nothing wrong with corduroy. I kind of like it, but I ordered a denim skirt. The texture is not obvious in the pictures. I deducted a star for that. The fabric if very thin. You can see light through both layers it when you hold it up. This is not bottom weight fabric. I deducted a star for that. The skirt is very slim fitting. At 5'4" tall and 157#, muscular build, soft tummy 35.5" waist, 43"hips, I ordered a Large which is typically what I wear despite the size chart. It is very form fitting. There is little if any give in the fabric. In this case you should pay attention to the size chart and order accordingly or even size up depending on how you'd like the fit.
