I love the look of old hand knitted sweaters. They remind me of my childhood, watching my Mom sitting down after a long day's work, chatting to all of us as her fingers manipulated a pair of knitting needles at ridiculously high speed. She never missed a stitch, or looked at a pattern, yet every one of her creations included the type of pattern that gave each garment the unmistakable look of hand-made seen in this lovely sweater.
