This worked pretty well to make standard tight curls. I tried using it to make a few different types of curls using techniques that I learned via online videos, but I'm a novice so standard curls was the easiest for me. The clips helped keep a lot of my hair out of the way while I worked on curling small sections. The little metal piece generally held the hot part off of the bathroom counter. I wasn't really sure when the iron fully heated as the lights stayed on the entire time. It was nice to have a couple of heating options as well. Overall this was easy to use and you could curl about an inch of hair at a time. It didn't take too long overall to do my entire head. I did end up getting a small burn near my thumbnail but that was most likely due to being a noob. Read more

Amazing! It takes a really good curling iron to curl my long blonde hair. My hair is pin straight, long and thin, but I have a lot of it so it's often difficult to hold a curl. The day I received this curling iron by UNOBEY, I went to work on my freshly washed and dried hair and began to style it with the curling iron. I was attempting to achieve wavy hair and that's exactly the outcome I got. The curling iron has a one inch barrel so you get those nice loose curls. The barrel is made of a non-stick Tourmaline ceramic so your hair glides right off of it. If you look at my pictures, you can see that it has two temperature settings, high and low. It comes with two alligator clips to hold the top part of your hair while you're curling the underneath parts. It also comes with a salon style comb and a safety glove so you don't burn your hand while holding the end and waiting for the iron to curl your hair. I usually leave the iron on my hair for 30 to 45 seconds and get a nice wavy curl and then I let my hair cool off before running my fingers through it because once it's cool, the curl will stay in longer. I was impressed by how fast this curling iron heated up. It only took about two minutes to become hot enough to use. But what impressed me more than anything was just how smooth and non-frizzy my curls turned out. This is a great value at this price and not only do you get an awesome curling iron, you get the additional accessories that really come in handy. Really easy to use and love the rose gold color. This petite curling iron is light and great for traveling. It heats up quickly and is hot, so I mostly use the low setting. I also appreciated the "extras" they include: the glove to protect your hands, the clips and the comb for styling. The cord also has a 360 degree swivel, which is great as it makes this easier to use as you don't have to keep adjusting the cord placement. The handle can be a little stiff when opening and closing, which hopefully will get easier with time. Read more
