I bought the black in size 7... my usual size. They have buckles on the side to adjust the fit. They are comfortable, and they look stylish. Very functional and great for everyday use. They go well with my wide leg jeans and other outfits. Read more

I purchased a pair of the Leah sandal in Whiskey, size 8.5 regular width. They compare with a pair of Birkenstock's thong-style sandals which I purchased several years ago (the Gizeh) as follows: Sizing: I wear a 39 narrow width in Birkenstocks, but I am consistently a regular B width in all other shoes (New Balance, Merrell, Vionic, Clark). The regular width of the Leah fits me perfectly and seems to be a true B width. The A-B narrow width of my Gizehs are a smidge narrower, and my foot does come too close to the edge in certain spots. The size 8.5 in the Leah corresponds well with Birkenstock's size 39. Comfort: The Leah is very soft and comfortable with no breaking-in period necessary as with the firmer Birkenstock original footbed found in the Gizeh. The biggest difference between the two shoes is the heel drop. The Leah does not have the negative heel drop which is Birkenstock's signature characteristic. This means that the Leah's more conventional arch support and heel cushioning puts your heel almost level with the ball of your foot. Its hard to see in the ad photos, but the Leah has a puffy heel cushion which is slightly raised above the footbed which ( I believe) is intended to help you if your heels get sore while you walk. If you have plantar fasciitis you may like this. Birkenstock's are known to have a "deep" heel cup which makes you feel as if your heel is slightly lower than your arch and puts the weight of your foot down on your heels a bit-- its distinctive -- molded as if you are walking on a sandy beach feel. I have severe ball of foot pain, metatarsalgia, and find the Birkenstock firm support a bit better for my purposes. Which feel you prefer depends on personal preference. Quality/value: I was wowed by the quality of the Leahs. They do have real suede on the foot bed and the cork seems to be of equal quality to my Birkenstocks. The faux leather uppers of the Leah are breathable and of comparable quality to the Birko-Flor uppers. In fact, the strap on the Leah has more buckle holes than the Birkenstock allowing me to buckle the Leah to hug my foot better than the Birkenstocks. I rate the Leah as very good to excellent in cushioning and value and am happy with my purchase. Read more

It takes a little while to break these sandals in, then they are very comfortable. Much Like Birkenstocks but for a fraction of the price. This is my second pair, ordered the same exact ones as my first pair. Read more

These are very true to size as far as length. They are pretty narrow, but I have narrow feet. I also have high arches and didn't find these as bad as some reviewers did. I wasn't expecting an exact replica of a more expensive shoe (and I have that shoe). You get what you pay for... For the money, these look great and are comfortable. I will probably purchase in another color as well. Read more

The price is definitely right, but if you're looking for shoes that feel like Birkenstocks, these aren't them. They do the opposite of cup your foot. Instead of concave, they are bit convex. I still like them, just manage your expectations. Read more
