These boots are awesome. They are very stylish and comfortable. They’re just the right heel height and can be worn dressy or casual. Story: I was on a layover in an airport when I fell and badly sprained my ankle (not wearing these boots at the time). I was on my way out of the country for 13 days to attend a trade show for work which required a ton of walking and standing. My ankle was severely swollen and sore. The only thing that helped was these boots! Not sure if it was the knit fabric around the ankle or just the overall comfort but they made it possible for me to do all the walking I did. Honestly, they're fine. I dont think they're the most comfortable shoe ever, but they work. Like most dress shoes there is no tread so don't expect these to provide slip resistance or anything. My feet don't slide around in them and they fit true to size. Read more

I love these boots. They’re a current style that fixes the problem of ankle pants in a cold winter. The shaft is higher so I don’t have to worry about making my pant leg hit the boot at any specific point. They’re also fabric, which is a plus for me because I try to avoid animal products for ethical reasons. And I love the gray option. They’re comfortable and they’re warm, but they have a slenderizing, more sophisticated shape. I have wider feet, so that’s a real feat. The problem with the shoes is they run narrow. Normally, I wear an 8 1/2 W, and I originally ordered that size. However, those were definitely not W. I returned them and ordered the 9 W, and they work perfectly. I was afraid the extra length would make me trip over my feet, but that’s not a problem. So, order up a 1/2 size, esp if you have wider feet. I would not, by any stretch of the imagination, call the Wide version of these boots Wide. Disappointing because they're incredibly cute and I love the sock styling of the boot top. Unfortunately, the seaming detail around the bridge of the toe line makes them very uncomfortable, plus they're not actually Wide. Read more
