What a well made, attractive mirror this turned out to be! My husband installed it a few days ago in the dressing area of a beach condo we're part owners in. He was impressed by its quality and commented on how classy it looked with its beveled edge. I was concerned about how heavy it might be, and it needed to fit close to the wall. It's not particularly heavy, and it's close enough to the wall so that when the door to the linen closet is opened there is no danger of the door banging against the mirror. (Distance is maintained by the door knob.) I shopped extensively on line for a suitable mirror and was often amazed at the prices being charged. Now I've seen this mirror and the quality of it I'm amazed at what an excellent value it is!!! The folks who own the company did email me encouraging me to supply product feedback, explaining that theirs is a small company, and they'd really appreciate it. It was nice to receive such a personalized email and discover I wasn't getting something from China. When I first installed the mirrors, they looked great. I liked the floating effect. However, at 1 o'clock in the morning we heard a loud crash and the mirror fell off the wall leaving a chip in my quartz counter top and a crack my porcelain tile floor. The floating bracket stayed on the wall but glue used to hold the bracket to the mirror came apart. I contacted Fab Glass and was told the bracket was not glued to the mirror properly and I was sent a new set of mirrors. Upon inspecting the new set, it looked like it was glued the same. I called Fab Glass and sent photos to them. They told me to try and pry the bracket off the back of the mirror to prove that it would not come off. I did, and with very little effort, the bracket came off the back of the mirror. I requested a refund because I did not want to take a chance on them falling off the wall again, especially with one of my family members standing in front of the mirror. I should have returned this within the return window. The mirror would be perfect for my space and seems of good quality EXCEPT it arrived with spots on it that look like dried water drops. I have tried everything to remove them and they will not come off of the glass. I'm now going to have my husband turn the mirror around so the light doesn't hit them as I can see them when I walk by the bathroom. They drive me crazy but it's my fault for keeping it vs returning it within the window. Had already thrown the packaging away and would have been a hassle to return. Read more

This mirror is amazing. I got the 18x40 and it fits perfectly above my desk. This mirror is heavy so you need to make sure that your way can handle the weight of this mirror. We found studs (the wood behind the wall) to drill holes in so that we can hang this mirror. It came with screws and adhesive for the mirror. Super sturdy and worth the price. everything pictured here is from amazon... everything from the lights, desk, drawer, chair and brush holder. This mirror arrived right on time and unbelievably, no damage from being shipped. It is the perfect size for the spot I wanted to hang it from. But, I will say that I was very disappointed with the hooks on the back. I wanted to hang it vertically and the hooks were not evenly placed from the edges as they describe. When they were attached at Fab and Glass, someone did not do it correctly and I don't understand how they didn't because you can see where they were marked to be placed. This made it extremely difficult to hang and get centered. That's not even the worst of it, the drywall anchors that were mailed with it are great, but don't use the screws that come with it because they are too large for the anchor and you will not be able to tighten as much as needed to hang the mirror. My mirror is at least an inch away from the wall because the screws won't get in any farther and the anchor just spins. I can't take them out and use smaller ones because they are stuck. My only option is to leave the mirror an inch away from the wall or rip out the anchors creating two very large holes in the wall and start over. I would recommend using smaller screws for the anchors that come with it, or you might me in the same boat as me. The mirror also had some sticky substance all over it, that I still have not been able to get off. And another thing is the backing on the mirror was not placed well, has several defects in it. So to sum it it all up: the mirror came in one piece, but the hooks were not place correctly, the backing on the mirror had several defects, and a sticky substance all over the mirror. It was the correct size and thickness and it was not cracked, but the workmanship on everything else was not up to par. And the screws are too long for the anchors to be able to hang it as close to the wall as possible. I would not recommend buying this, the hassle of hanging it has not been worth it. Read more
