I bought this customized knife for someone I work with for Christmas. It came exactly as described; a day early, in fact, to allow me to gift wrap it. The customized image and letter engraving is machine tooled with absolute precision. No mistakes. Double-check your spelling as im sure this is a fairly automated engraving. Wood is only on one side, but the handle looks great and feels great. Ergonomical. The knife itself came sharp and has a really sleek look. The serrated portion is also incredibly sharp. There is a flip-assist opening trigger, but I dont think the knife was designed to be a full flip-assisted opener, so I wasnt worried about that. It opens up about half way when you use the trigger. The knife itself stays locked very well. No looseness that I have noticed. I definitely recommend this product for its customization, quality, ease of ordering, and it makes a really great gift! The knife is very good materials and dangerous sharp. The oak handle is beautiful and for the most part the engraving was done beautifully. The only part I have an issue with is the emblem if you look at the picture, you can’t really see what it says. It’s supposed to say super papa but the papa part doesn’t look very legible.. The reason is because of the wood is very dark at the bottom. I’m not really sure myself why but it’s just not legible besides that the rest of the knife is absolutely gorgeous. Very sturdy very sharp smooth to open and close. I’m definitely not blaming the maker for the emblem because I really believe it might have been due to the striations in the wood.
