I thought this bag would be a super cute and affordable bag to use as a diaper bag while also having extra room for my stuff so I don’t have to carry a million bags every time I leave the house. I just toss my wallet and keys inside and use it as my purse while also having all my baby needs. It has several compartments for those heading off to college as well! The pocket for laptops is nice and roomy, and the main pocket has PLENTY of room for books/notebooks. I use it for mostly light-weight items, and if it gets too heavy, it will pull the large pocket down since it doesn’t have a lot of support. But it’s not terrible. I’m always cautious with light colors, but so far the cream bag has stayed relatively clean! And it would be super easy to toss it in the wash for a gentle cycle if it did start to get stains. My wife picked this out, and right out of the box, it's a really good looking backpack. The beige corduroy is very 'in' right now, and she was really excited about the number of pockets. There's a spot for everything: her laptop (make sure the laptop is under 16-inches), a couple of books, water bottle, and there's even a hidden pocket in the back which is a nice touch for a phone or wallet. The zippers are medium duty. It seems well-organized and is a great size for a high school or college student. We were all set to give this 5 stars, but then we checked the care tag. It basically says hand wash/spot clean ONLY. For a light beige backpack made of corduroy that's meant for school? Just not practical. This thing is going to get dirty just from being put on the floor or brushed up against things. Not being able to throw it in the wash is a major downside for something that is supposed to be functional and stylish. Spot cleaning is fine for a small spill, but it won't work for the general grime a school bag picks up over a semester. So it's a tough one. It's a great bag in almost every way, but the impractical cleaning may make it a poor choice for daily use. Read more
