Cute Cats Plants Coffee Mug - 12 oz Fine New Bone China Coffee Tea Cup with Kitten Design

I quite like this bone china mug. Nice quality, easy to hold, easier to drink from and it looks really good with an uplifting message too! First off, don't know why they advertise it as a "tarot" mug. It probably puts some potential buyers off. There's no tarot card that looks like this, nor does it represent any. I'd call it more a motivational or maybe hopeful message. It's definitely uplifting, makes me smile. Now a lot of the reviews talk negatively about the handle, which I really like! It is lighter, thinner, than the mug's density but not by much. And that makes it easier to hold. The lesser weight and especially the awesome design of the handle, which unlike many is not plain but decorated with stars! makes it very easy to hold the mug, even when filled. This totally matters to me as I've had surgeries on my hands and arthritis as well, so the lighter weight of the mug (bone china) and the ergonomic handle really help! Makes it look really good too. The material being bone china makes this very gift-able. It's not only pretty with the deep blue and gold but the material isn't some cheap, thick ceramic. Bone china is thinner, more delicate, makes me feel like I'm having high tea in a restaurant vs just being at home. Lovely weight and feel. Even with the gold decorations it is microwave safe and without getting overheated either. Very nice. Last, I want to talk about the lip of this mug. Very important to me, guess I'm fussy, is the "drinkability" or how easily I can sip from my cups. I prefer, no, actually look for, a curved lip. It makes a huge difference to me, enough that I'll choose this type of edge over any other. I especially like how this delicately curves outward vs being just straight. The mold no doubt costs more to make and I'm willing to pay more for this (tho it doesn't matter here, esp with the discount). Look at it. Compare to others. Here the top edge leans out so it's that much easier to sip from. Little things like that matter in the design of a drinking cup, making sipping from it so much easier, much more enjoyable. This is the cup I'll be reaching for. This is the cup that makes a great gift. I definitely, highly recommend! Note to Vendor: might want to change up your marketing, the description of this cup. 1/22/26 Revised: Seller contacted me and assured me the cups and mugs contained no harmful chemicals and sent me copies of their product testing reports and FDA approval. I already returned my mug and received my refund from Amazon, however; the Seller offered to send me a new one, free of charge. Based on the great customer support, I feel confident buying from this Seller again. Thank you! Old review: Well this cup is adorable, perfect size, and beautiful. I was all set to purchase another one when I ran across a review stating possible exposure to cancer causing chemicals. Sure enough, it’s included on the pretty box. I didn't notice it when I ordered, but inside the mug is a cute little dog, especially meaningful for me because the night before I received the mug, I had to unexpectedly euthanize my little dog with similar markings. So the mug is pretty and whimsical, but, to me, heartwarming too. Read more
