For a 500W heater, it actually puts out a decent amount of heat and works best in small to medium rooms. That said, this isn’t meant to heat a large space or replace a main heater, but for personal use, bedrooms, offices, or a garage workspace, it does the job well. We tried to use this in a small bedroom that is always freezing, were looking for something that wouldn't take up a lot of space. Unfortunately, this did not heat the whole room quickly as the marketing indicated. It did raise the temp slightly, but nowhere near enough to be comfortable. This heater is compact and easy to use and plugs directly into the outlet which saves floor space. It heats up quickly and works well for small areas like a bedroom office or desk area. If you’re looking for heat do NOT buy this product. It looks cute and I liked the fact that it plugged right in to the wall socket. But if you’re looking for a heater for your small room, 200 square feet or less, buy something else. I left this on all night in an 8x10 room and it only raised the temperature 1 degree F from 48 degrees F to 49. This room is insulated with R19 and is easily heated. Waste of money.
