For those of us into cosplay, a drone hood can be a ton of fun. This one was mindless, but in the worst possible way. While it fit my head okay, the skullcap was appreciated. Overall, I expected more. There were absolutely no instructions, so it took me a while to figure out how to turn it on. It doesn't appear rechargeable, and it takes watch batteries. I just don't know how to remove them. in the box was some added "extra" stuff. Additional lights but no idea how to use them. They added some functionality, I'm sure, but I couldn't figure out what. The fit wasn't very comfortable and part of it broke as I was putting it on, so the quality and durability leave much to be desired. Read more

This is a really cool looking mask, and a great addition to my collection. The quality of materials is good, and the fit is decently comfortable. like other masks of this type, the side lights (the white ones) Are just repurposed motorcycle handlebar guards, and they still have the mounting points attached on the back, they look a little goofy at first if you're not expecting them, but overall, they aren't noticeable as they're in the back. My only real complaint is the lighting for the eyes. They use what seem to be repurposed finger led lights that are just double sided taped to the inside of the mask, and when mine arrived, they had both popped off and were floating around the box. One was actually stuck to the box and the other I thought was lost, but later found it stuck to the inside of the mask. After replacing the tape with some good quality 3M, they seem to be holding well, but it did take a few tries to get them in the right position to both make the eyes light up properly as well as not be seen. Product arrived on time. First impressions are very positive. The mask is solidly built and the strap is very sturdy, staying on my head. It didn't arrive with the little side banners, but I wasn't planning on using them anyway. I would say if you're concerned about visibility to choose one without decals on the visor and don't turn on the light. That being said, I'm still giving it 5* because it's exactly what I expected.
