I picked this mattress to convert my deep recessed window into a reading nook. The cushion is soft, not firm, but the thickness makes up for it. It's just right. I could absolutely sleep on it if I wanted to. The cover is easy to remove, but a little tricky to put back on. The corner straps on the bottom are tight but stretchy, so they don't bunch up underneath when using it on a flat surface. The bottom is textured and slightly bumpy to reduce or prevent slippage. It works really well. The measurements are accurate. The color is darker than expected, but I don't mind. As intended, none of my greens match. I am very happy I picked this mattress. I think you would be too. I'm going to put a bookshelf on the foot end, hang some faux vines on the walls, and put some warm lights that hang from the top.
