I bought it primarily as a backup power source for hurricane-related outages—its large size also makes it very reliable. It takes about two hours to fully charge via AC power at normal speed. It's definitely heavy, but luckily it's mobile with wheels. I haven't connected it to solar panels yet, but next spring, I plan to hook it up to two 400W solar panels so I can harness that natural energy to power the air conditioner. Mine works to its enumerated specifications so far after the first 5 cycles. This unit is reviewed online so see that for thorough details. It’s loud. My decibel meter is reading 57db when its fans are running. Most quality solar generators now have fans which are not so loud. Be aware that its app demands your WiFi password to work. If you don’t give it, no Bluetooth, no connection, no app control, no updates. The good news is that their customer service rep was available by phone to assure me of this, so Dabbsson does have verbal communication support if you phone them. Read more

Don't waste your money! 3600 watts more like 1000 watt. Dissatisfied and can't send back. Was out traveling with it and so very dissappinted but we didn't return home until December 1s so can't return. It's Now on cyber money for 1899.00! . Purchased October 25 and arrived 3 days later. For 2290.00. This only adds toour feeling of being ripped off. Going to reach out yo YouTubers who rated this 4 star or better. Hmmmm it's obvious if they can discount to 1889.00 then huge markup. This is my second update on the Dabbsson DBS3500 Portable Home Backup Power Station. I received the replacement unit Dec 8th, and the the unit works as advertised. Customer support was very helpful in resolving the problem of the original unit which would not take a charge at all. The product seems well made and am pleased with the outcome. This is an update on my review initially submitted to Amazon Nov 13, 2024: After the review below was posted, I was called by Dabbsson customer support on Nov 17th. The company advised me they had not received any of my email and telephone inputs other than my first email of Oct 17, 2024. after some discussion, I am accepting in goodwill their desire to remedy the issue I am having with their product. At this time I am following their IT recommendation to attempt a firmware update. So, I am adjusting my rating to 4 stars because of their expression of good faith to resolve this product issue. I will post an additional review at the conclusion of this adventure. (see below for original comment) I received the Dabbsson DBS3500 Portable Home Backup Power Station on October 16, 2024. The unit had a zero per cent charge when I initially plugged it in to fully charge it. The charge status never went beyond zero per cent. I notified Dabbsson that evening. The next day I received a reply with some further steps to try. No success. I emailed the company on Oct 21 and 24 and received no response. I telephoned the company on Oct 29 and Nov 5, and each time I was assured they would have their support team get back to me. I emailed again on Nov 8. No reply. I have a very expensive 90 lb paper weight. I rate customer support a Zero. I don't know if their product actually works - mine doesn't. Read more

Last week I just bought a DBS3500. I chose it not only because of its large capacity and expandability, but mainly because it has built-in BMS protection!! I'm confident this can function as a UPS just like the DELTA 2. That means you can plug it into AC power for charging and connect up to four freezers/refrigerators. When AC power fails, it automatically powers the connected units—a really cool feature. It provides protection when you're away or during nighttime outages you might not notice. Read more

I bought two of these, and immediately needed to run my refrigerator and microwave, after having gone through hurricane Milton. They work like a champ, and I can tell from the build quality and operation so far that they were the right choice for me.
