These are great quality and thick rubber but I’ve ordered multiple sizes trying to find the correct fit. I guess i need a half size. They have great customer service. My mom loves working in the beautiful garden on her property in Florida, from trimming hedges, fertilizing her tomato trees and jalapeño plants to raking leaves and the works!! My biggest concern (not hers) is snakes! She’s never encountered any directly, but when I’ve visited I’ve seen one and… well, I’m a city boy… born and raised in NYC so the only snakes I encounter are in the form of people. ; ). Seeing just one in the wild for me basically gives me Australia vibes! I’ll never go to that place!!! LOL!! The snakes that my mom may encounter, on the other hand, are long, slippery and mostly black (garter and southern black racers) all non-venomous and quite harmless, but are known to bite ones feet or ankles if one should unexpectedly come into their space and surprise them. But even that is ultra rare because apparently they are more afraid of us than we are of them. Of course I beg to differ, but she always tells me not to worry because she wears boots when she gardens. So, when I saw these attractive DaeRainy boots I thought they would be a nice gift for mom for which she could dedicate to gardening duty. So I got them and she received them a few days ago and… she LOVES them! She says the build quality is excellent! They are solid and the rubber is premium! There is a very nice tread pattern and depth underneath, providing stability and excellent grip on soft and/or wet terrain. She and I also find them to be very attractive! She got the khaki colored ones in size 7 and they really look good and fit perfectly. Most importantly they are very comfortable to walk around in. It’s not really a drawback, but she says they are a bit heavy. My feeling is that it’s due to the thick rubber and tight insulation, and to me that’s a good thing making snake bites impossible whilst keeping water and dirt out. At the time of this writing they list at $69 but it’s Black Friday week and they are on sale for $55.20. Honestly, they are very much worth it at $69, so grab them at $55 while you can!! These DaeRainy boots are very well crafted, attractive, and high quality. They are waterproof and quite cozy to wear while providing complete protection from the elements… and snakes ;). My mom loves them and so I give them 5 stars and recommend them highly! Read more
