We're having fun with this. Wanted to make a dole whip kind of thing, still experimenting as most of the recipes can for sugar or ice cream for that. But we've enjoyed what we've tried. Read more
I’ve been using this ice cream maker attachment with my KitchenAid for a few weeks, and it’s been fun to experiment with. It makes soft serve and frozen yogurt really smoothly, and the texture comes out creamy without ice crystals if you follow the directions. I’ve tried a few dairy free recipes, and it handles them just as well as traditional ice cream. I love being able to make some healthy ice cream whenever I want. Cleanup is simple since most parts are dishwasher safe, which is a big plus. It does take a bit of planning to freeze the bowl ahead of time, but that’s standard for this type of attachment. Overall, it works as expected and is a nice way to make homemade frozen treats without needing a separate machine. Read more
I've always wanted to try this attachment for my kitchen aid. It does take some trial and error but it does work. I was surprised to be honest. It comes with different nozzles, a nozzle attachment, a grinder, tray and a push thing to help get the fruits through. I was eager to try it out and all I jad were smoothie tabs so I cut those up and pushed it through and what I had was a smoothie sorbet. I plan to try all different types of fruits and explore. A kind of recipe book comes with it but I think your best bet is to Google some ideas. Its all dishwasher safe but if you clean it right after usage then a little dishsoap and warm running water does the trick as well. If you jave a kitchen aid and have kids who would like some sorbet....get this! Read more
