I ordered the largest size. My waist is at 46 and my hips are 56. If I were any smaller it'd be too big. I dont even have to tie it I just put it on by the latches. Its borderline too big as it stands I should've ordered a size down. But let me tell you this thing is heavy for what I thought it'd be. And it looks extremely well made! Love this corset! It's surprisingly well made and fit like a glove. I had to go down a size from what I initially thought (yay!) but go based on your natural waist and then reduce a few inches. I have very wide hips and this accommodated that. It is surprisingly comfortable. It has some weight to it, and the material is pretty hefty. It doesn't feel like cheap costume quality corsets. The boning feels pretty sturdy and the bars on the front closures are nice and wide. I will absolutely be buying more corsets from this maker. If the sizing was at all accurate then i would put 5 stars. I measured myself. My waist is 49 inches. So i should get the 6x..... 6x was falling of me without even undoing the strings. So one more down... 5x i could clasp with room without undoi g the laces. A 4x is what fit me. It does have weight to it and it is very well made. But they really need to work on their measurements. I am just tearing my way down amazon trying to find a corset that fits me (size 20/22) and I am just having a heck of a time. This is the only one I tried on in a 6X that was TOO BIG. On the sizing chart given a 6X should have been mostly fine (5X probably is closer to my actual measurements) but given other 6X's I'd tried on in different brands had been too small, I figured this would be similar. Not the case! It was WAY too big on me! tightened up the laces as tight as they would go and it was still loose. It was a pleasant surprise! I would have ordered the next size or 2 down, but overall it was long on the torso for me as well. So if you're a tall, plus sized woman this is definite the corset for you! Read more
