Pretty but way too small.
The good . . . the costume is pretty and very heavy duty. Not thin material at all. It is very slimming. Now the ugly . . . the Amazon size chart did not help with ordering at all. I searched for reviews on this outfit before spending $150 and could not find one, so I hope this review helps someone. My husband and I are prime members but I did not want him to see this since it is a surprise for his birthday, so I did not use our prime account. I ordered this on June 4th with an expected delivery date of June 22nd-July 6th. I was hoping closer to June 22nd of course. I did not receive it until July 10th. Needless to say, I have been anxiously awaiting this piece and even thinking it may be too big because I ordered larger than what I thought I needed. I am well overweight. I wear a 24/26 in everything. I am usually a 3x everywhere. I decided to order a 4x in this piece. I unzipped the back and tried to step into the costume. It was not going anywhere. I did get it to slip on over my head so that I could at least get a feel for the costume. That worked much better and looks like it would be soooo pretty and sexy. There was no zipping it. Not even close. I am returning it and have already reordered the 6x. I fear it still will not zip but I have to try. Lastly, this may be a positive or negative considering what you are wanting this outfit for. The back of the skirt is longer than the front (which you cannot tell in the picture). If you are wanting to wear this in public, then it would be helpful. I am wanting it for the bedroom and by looking at the picture, figured my cheeks would be exposed a bit (I know, too much information) but they are well covered. I was slightly disappointed in that aspect. Again, super sexy and good quality outfit, just horrible sizing. ***Update: I received the 6x and it is definitely worse than the 4x. I wish I would have waited to mail the 4x back until I received the 6x to compare. This time I did use my Amazon Prime (well my friend's so my husband would not know) and it arrived within two or three days of placing my order. I swear the 6x was the same size as the 4x, only with very long lace in the corset. I unlaced it as much as it could go without exposing bare skin and I was able to zip it, however, it was extremely tight and unflattering on my stomach. And the chest was HUGE, and that is really an understatement. I have very large breasts and it did not even begin to fill the material. The red part was extra tall on my chest and just hung there. Maybe if I had someone to tighten the top of the corset for me, then it would have been better but still would not have been good. I really do think you need someone to help you get in this costume to make it look decent too. Which, like I mentioned, I wanted to surprise my husband so getting help would have been impossible. I am returning this one as well and giving up the dream of surprising him in a Wonder Woman costume. Read more
