Daisy Corsets Womens Top Drawer Sequin Steel Boned Corset Dress

I wanted to share a review since there were only a couple when I purchased this dress/corset. After reading another review, I opted to size up on this (I typically would order a Large, but I ordered an XL). There was no size chart anywhere on the listing, so I hoped for the best. Honestly, I think I would have been ok with going with a Large, but I was able to fit in the XL, I just had to tie the corset all the way tight and it fit! My measurements are 41-31-41. The quality of this corset is awesome. Super soft fabric lining on the inside. I ended up swapping the corset ties from the black shoestring it came with to a green ribbon and it worked great! I got soooooo many compliments on this outfit - it really is a show stopper. You will need something to wear underneath (I opted for some green metallic hot pants/boy shorts) so you don't show your booty completely. The front covers well on it's own. The only negative thing I have to say about this dress is that it cut up my arms just because the whole thing is sequins - but I feel like that's par for the course when you're wearing sequins. The quality is excellent, looks beautiful and made really well. It would have received 5 stars if the fit was correct. Based on the other review I sized up. I’d usually get an XL in something like this based on my body type but ordered a 2X. I wear an 8 in dresses and a 10/12 in pants but I’m very busty and hippy so I need room there. The waist is a little loose for me but the bust and hips fit perfectly so I’ll take it in a little in the waist. Very happy with the corset overall. Read more

The small seemed child size. I usually wear petite or x small but I couldn’t even put on my body. It was so short it looked like a shirt not a dress. However it was made very well. May try bigger size. Read more
