My review is based solely on the cooling aspect of this bag. I have yet to try it with hot items. I take this cute little bag with me to work for lunch every day. It holds a lot of stuff, it is deceptively large inside. I usually pack it around 8 a.m. and take my lunch break by 1. My soda stays nice and cold and the food inside is kept at a perfect temperature. I have used an ice pack with it a few times, but to be honest, I didn't even need it.
