Finally a line of clothing that fits well, without advertising my flaws. It is also very comfortable to wear, which is rare considering I hate wearing anything other than cotton or athletic wear (self wicking). When I first tried it on I thought it was tight, but that was because I forgot to untie the back gather. There are two gathers on this top, one is in the front and the other is in the back. I think this is why it was so easy to wear since I was able to adjust it and it still looked good. The material feels like soft slinky polyester (not the scratchy kind, but the kind that feels comfortable and stretchy). It breathes well - reminiscent of the athletic wear that I use for skating. I already bought two other of their tops and am waiting for a fourth one to return to stock. I normally wear a size 12 in pants, and a large in tops. This was a little more money than I like to spend on a single top, but I can without hesitation advise that the fabric and construction are well worth the price. I will say that I reviewed this as being "too small" only because I took the advice of many other reviewers when I up-sized for this item. I am a solid 2X and I purchased a 3X which fits like all my other 2X tops. So in reality it is too small for ordering your usual size but up-sizing will make it "fit as expected". This is a very flattering top for women who have a larger middle section and I absolutely love the renaissance detail. I purchased the purple color and it is true to what is advertised. I really love this top and I'm sure it will become one of my favorites. I'm looking to buy another one or two to add to wardrobe. Read more

I got this in the dark blue, size 1XL. I normally wear an XL, and thought this fit true to size. It is comfortable, and I didn't think the arms were too tight, and I don't have skinny arms. The fabric is a thin, stretchy synthetic blend that looks nice and feels good on, but honestly seems a little cheaply made. The cut is very flattering, and while some complain about the back not being cut like the front, I thought the shorter back looked better. A long back panel just would have made my butt look big. I have pretty wide hips (to put it politely, one might call it an hourglass figure) and the remnants of a flabby belly thanks to having 2 babies in the last 2 years, so any shirt I can put on and think I look pretty good and even kind of thin is a big success! This really is a lovely top. My only complaints are that the price is much too high for the quality of the fabric. I don't really think it will hold up to many washings. Also, the dark blue is almost black, not nearly as bright as it appears in the picture. I was expecting more of a royal blue, and it is actually a very dark navy. Had I known this, I probably would have selected a different color. I wish they made it in a hunter green. That would have been perfect! If this had been more like $30 or $35, I probably would have ordered a couple more in other colors, and honestly the quality of the shirt is only worth about $30 or $35. I love this top and I'm glad that I went with the recommended size because it fits perfectly. This definitely has renaissance/witch vibes, which is perfect for a fair that I'm going to towards the end of the month. Personally, I think the material of the top is sturdy, however it is slightly see-through, so I would recommend wearing an undergarment of the same color underneath. The sleeves are just the right length and the lace is a nice touch as well. Sure, it's a little pricey, but it's worth it. If you want it, I highly recommend getting it. Read more

Normally I’m very hesitant on buying clothes with out tiring them on first so I was taking a leap of faith! And it was worth it!! It looked just like the picture! The fabric is super soft/comfortable!!! Normally with lace it can be to tight or the arms will run small, but NOT with them! It fit perfect! Very flexible!, Breathable too! And not see through! (Ifyk yk). I’m so happy with this! I hate felling like my shoulders and arms are constricted but I did not have to worry with this! It fit so perfect like it was made custom for me! I read the size chart and ordered a size Medium which is my usual size, but it looks like it would fit a 10 year old. It seems to be a beautiful blouse, well made, but this would not fit any woman I know or have seen. I read the reviews and it did mention they run small but this is ridiculous. I wouldn't have any idea what size to get after seeing this garment. I wouldn't bother with this, trying to find the right size-I'll just get a top from Venus....Update: I did go ahead and order 2 sizes up from a Medium and that is a 1X. It is a little big but looks nice if I pull the sash tighter. But the square neck across my bustline is saggy. I don't know, I won't return it but will work with it, it is very pretty, colorful, very thin fabric, you can easily wear in spring and summer, but would need a sweater or a heavy tank underneath for fall and winter- I really should have just gotten a size Large but that may have been too tight across the bodice, I am a 36DD so I need some room. I don't know ladies just be very careful sizing yourself on this one...I have worn this blouse and the tie in the front is way too long and won't stay tied. It is quite annoying.
