The design and texture of this keyboard are really great and it's worth more than the price. I've been using it for a month and haven't had any problems so far. There is just one big drawback. The key switches are too light. I made a lot of typos because the adjacent keys reacted just because my finger hit them. I don't regret buying this keyboard because the problem can be solved by replacing the key switches with ones I like, but it's something to be aware of. Read more
excelente muchas gracias, dareu tiene muy buena calidad Read more
I quite like the way switches feel and how typing experience is. Having said that, the keyboard has had issues (possibly firmware), where a certain key signal was incorrectly sent every couple minutes. I sent an email to customer service but have not received any response and this specific keyboard is not listed on DAREU website for firmware update either, meaning I am completely stuck with the current experience. Maybe I just got unlucky and received a defective one, but was hoping that DAREU CS would provide some support with the issue. Read more
So I've been getting into keyboard customization a lot lately, and my collection has been steadily growing. I currently own 6 different boards that I've ordered and have installed various switches and keycaps onto. I've even replaced stabilizers and have dipped my toes into lubing a bit as well. It's been a really fun hobby, and there's just something therapeutic about working on a board to get it just the way I want. When it comes to the the EK87Pro, there's a lot to like and I think it's a really solid option that works really well, even completely stock. I do have a couple of issues that I'll get into a bit later in the review. For now, I'll talk about what I like. So to start, this board is really well-build, and well-dampened. If you look at the listing pictures, all those different layers of material, the gasket mount, the linear switches, even the plastic frame... they all work together to give the board a specific sound profile when typing... which to me, sounds really great. Even when bottoming out, my keystrokes are muted and thocky, and typing on it is a very pleasant experience. Even the stabilizers are rock solid and outperform the ones on my expensive GMMK2 Pro. As for the switches, I can see why some people might have some issues with them, but I personally think they're wonderful to type on. I originally had plans to swap them out with some Akko cream blues, but I like the stock HiFis so much, I decided to keep them in. They are fairly light and have an extremely high operating point, which makes them unforgiving to people who are used to heavy, clicky switches. For years, I typed on Sakura Pinks, which were much lighter than Dream HiFi, so I feel like I can quickly acclimate with these, no problem. Additionally, out of all my boards, this is actually the first one I own that can be used wirelessly. I think I'll mostly stick with a wired connection, but I do appreciate that clean desk look that a wireless board can provide. So there are a couple negatives, but nothing too major. My biggest grip has to do with the keycaps... which aren't amazing. It's not that they're terrible, but putting non shine-through keycaps on an RGB board should be one of the seven deadly sins. They do a disservice here, and I immediately swapped them out with some nice, PBT pudding caps to let the RBG shine literally and figuratively. Also, the RGB doesn't look quite as good as it does on some of my other boards, specifically my Royal Kludge R75, which is so bright and vivid. I think the combination of the south-facing LEDs and weaker "in-between-key" diffusion are the culprits here, but I could be mistaken. Other than that, this is a really solid keyboard. It's definitely not perfect, but it has so many solid features (wireless, gasket mount, RGB, hot swappable etc), that it makes the $69 price-point very reasonable, and I wouldn't hesitate recommending this over other "big brand" keyboards. Definitely 5/5 stars. Read more

The media could not be loaded. First off, the sound this keyboard makes when you type is super cool and nostalgic. It reminds me of the keyboards I had on much older computers. The keys are also sort of soft to the touch. The keys have a spring to them and it feels really good to type. Sort of like ASMR. You don't have to push them down very far or hard. So it's pretty natural actually. The keyboard is thicker and therefore the keys are a little higher than what I'm used to. The keyboard I was using before this was a thinner Mac keyboard. So that is going to take a little time to get used to that. The biggest adjsutment for me is just that I'm used to having the keypad and have used the enter key a lot. I didn't realize how much I used it until I swapped out my keyboard for this one and everything I type in a URL I'm trying to hit a key that isn't there. Also the arrow keys feel like they're in a different position. But they're probably not. I'm not sure if I'll keep using it or give it to one of my kids to use simply because I might be too reliant on the number pad. But I'll give it a try. I like that this keyboard can be used Bluetooth, wireless using their dongle, or wired. Since it has lighting effects I would probably use it wired most of the time. I'm also on a Mac and when I plugged it in it did ask me to press a key next to the shift key to identify the keyboard and it failed to identify. But it works anyway. The win key does other function that I don't know yet. So it's not working like the option key. I'll have to work with it a little more to see if there is a "Mac" or "option" key. They included some additional keycaps which I installed so that the arrow keys would be yellow. I wish they had included a replacement for the win key to make it a Mac/option key. If there isn't a Mac/option key on this keyboard it will make it not really viable as a keyboard for Mac. But if you want it for a windows based computer it should be fine. Let's talk about the color effects. Those are also super cool. Check out the video in which it is set to like a ripple mode. The lights ripple out from whatever key you press. There are also other various light animation modes like only lighting up the key you press or a full rainbow, etc. These can be set from the FN key so that does work on a Mac. I assume these LEDs use up the battery but I have it plugged in so that's not a bother. IF you think this ripple mode is annoying there are much more subtle modes and ways to change the colors. Overall it's a hard 5 stars. The keyboard feels great and is a lot of fun Read more
