These socks are amazingly comfortable and maintain their vibrant white and colored stripes. I purchased these originally because I wanted some vintage looking socks of my youth. I so loved the first 5 pairs, I purchased another pack. On a whim, I decided to give them out as stocking stocking stuffers to my family. They were big hit and instantly became a favorite for the 3 guys and 2 women recipients. Despite my purchase of the L size, they seem to be a perfect fit for the women (sizes 6.5 / 7.5) and men (9,10,11). 2 days after Christmas, they all lamented that they only had one pair and their favorite socks were in the laundry. I have had multiple discussions about the mystery of how these socks are so comfortable. I have worn and laundered these socks every week for months and they still have their stretchiness and look like new.
