Dash Camera Suction Cup Mount Dashcam Mounts Holder with 14 Ball Joints Adapter for Vehicle Video Recorder Windshield

I got this to replace my KDLINKS X1 windshield mount that was damage while I was removing the camera. It was my 2nd mount that had damage during just normal adding and removing the camera. After getting this I find it was very easy to select the mount that fit my camera and installing on the windshield was a breeze. This mount seems to be much stronger and seems to stick to the windshield more sturdy than the original. During the day I put up my sun shield and all I had to do was loose the nob a little and pull back the camera and not once have it come undone from the windshield. My old original mount would just pop off. Highly recommend this mount. 10/05/2019 update Having this mount for 6 months I’m now looking to replace it because it broke. The knob that you push up to tighten it Against the glass literally broke off rendering the suction cup useless. In the 6 months I’ve had it I probably took it down less than 10 times. Read more

lots of different choices , however it did not fit the one thing I bought it for. I was trying to replace a windshield attachment for a dash cam that was old and I was trying to find an attachment that would fit. I got this to replace the mount for a wireless backup camera, and it does do the job. The kit includes a bunch of different sockets that fit a broad range of devices. All that's actually pretty good. The suction cup is adequate, but two things knock this down to three stars. 1st, the ball joint feels flimsy. It doesn't really stay in place well unless you tighten it down enough you expect it to break. It works, but it won't hold position unless whatever you have on it is really light. 2nd, the adapters all feel kind of flimsy. I realize that even with a range of them, chances are good the fit you'll get to whatever you're mounting is going to be "just OK." But, still, they feel cheap even considering the price. Now, as a cheap replacement for a device that's lost its mount? It's fine. But as a long term replacement solution? Might be better off getting the actual replacement or something that's higher quality. Read more
