We already got a rice maker that is supposed to be multifunction, but half the options are no longer working, and the rice is taking long to cook so we decided to look for something simpler and easier to use. Our family also likes to eat lots of rice, so we were looking for a big rice maker, and this one was perfect for that. Using it is extremely simple. Follow the instructions to know how much water to use depending on the type of rice you are cooking and just push the button, so it goes to red and starts cooking. We have been using it for the last couple of weeks, and we are happy with it. Rice comes out perfect and it is taking half the time than it did before on our older cooker. Only thing which could be good for some and no good for other ones is that the rice tends to stick to the bottom. We like it as it makes it crunchy and yummy. The rice cooker also comes with a few recipes, but we haven't tried them yet as the main reason to get this was just to make white rice and it is doing a great job of it. After the rice is cooked it keeps it warm and delicious. This is able to feed our family for a couple of days due to holding 20 cups. I use this rice cooker every day now, and I absolutely love it. It’s very easy to use — I just put in the amount of rice and water I need, press one button, and it does the rest perfectly. It's an overall decent rice cooker. Nothing fancy, and easy to use and clean up. So far I've made both rice and Mac & Cheese and they came out great! I'm also happy to say that it doesn't seem to boil up sticky residue like other basic rice cookers I've owned in the past. While some rice does stick to the bottom, it hasn't been difficult to clean it off after a small soak. So if you're cooking for a large family or meal prepping, this will work out well. Read more

I was due for a new rice cooker and this fit the bill nicely! It's large capacity, cooks rice perfectly, the pot seems to be a good quality coated ceramic. I'm still going to keep it out of the dishwasher just to be safe, it cleans up with just a wipe out. I also love that it is just a SIMPLE GLASS lid. Easy cleanup, and doesn't get gross like some multifunction rice cookers do. My only nitpick with this is I wish it was offered in black or red, but I don't leave it out on the counter when not using it so that's not a deal breaker for me. I really am glad I got this. It is bigger than I thought it would, my fault, but it's very flexible in how much you can fix. It is super easy to do. My preference would be adding a little more water to the white rice, but that's just me. It cleans very easily too. I think it's a very good value for the money. I know besides rice one can also make at least oatmeal and mac "n" cheese. The instructions and recipe book is nice and very helpful. I would recommend this to families from 1-10 people at least.
