This thing is great! I read in bed and have my book propped up so I don't have to hold it. With this I can be completely under the covers and still turn the page! It could use better instructions. Had to figure out that each time you start using it, after a break, you may have to re-pair the two pieces. Push button on page turner once then 2 times on the remote piece. Fast, easy and works like a charm! People who said it doesn't hold a charge probably just didn't re-pair it. Mine is still going strong after nearly 2 years. Be careful not to keep plugged in after charging is complete though. I have fallen asleep while charging it a few times so the turner piece doesn't hold a charge as long as it did at first, but it still last several hours. The remote piece rarely ever needs recharged. So far, so good. The finger held unit holds a charge for a very long time. The unit that goes on the reader itself does not do bad and fully recharges in roughly two hours. Every now and again, the unit on the reader seems to stop working, and you will bang your head on the wall trying to reposition or checking for charge. Checking for charge is easy, if you click the unit and a blue light flashes, you are paired and both units are working as intended. However, if both of those are charged and it still won't turn the page, simply turn it manually with your finger, then when you need to turn for the next page, it functions normally. I recently discovered this after many attempts at repositioning the unit on the reader, checking for charge, etc. All in all, an excellent page turning device. Also, I can confirm that it works with a case on your reader. It has been nearly 3 months me and my family have been using these, with zero failures. I had previously bought a normal remote clicker one and it was the highest rate of one and about five dollars more I think it was DATAFY Store Remote Control and so far I highly recommend this one over that one . It's only been a few days and I'll update this if there is longevity issues but this is so much better for so many reasons!!! 1. That other one is not case friendly and without the case I can't use my extender arm to read hands free. This one works with case!!!!! See photos. 2. That other one took up sometimes three words so you lost a lot of screen visibility but this one barely takes up any and it still works better! 3. With my last one I had a lot of issues with not being able to turn the page and having a quick multiple times or it would turn several pages it was really annoying but so far with this one it works pretty flawlessly sometimes I do have to click the button twice but that's about it I've never had it turn the page twice or go several Pages ahead. 4. Finally I way prefer the ring over the remote because with the last one and the reason I had to go looking for a new clicker is because I would constantly lose the remote I fall asleep with it in my hand and it falls to the floor or sometimes the trash can near my bed and I don't know if I accidentally threw it out even though I normally know to look for it there but I can't find it anywhere that won't happen with this ring. I gave the old one 2/5 and I give this one 5/5. The only thing that would make it better is if it had two sensors so that you can go page forward page backward but I don't have to pay backwards with this one anymore because I don't have those issues. I guess there is one negative so I'm a woman with I think normal size hands and the ring like just fits on my pointer finger so if you have big hands or your man I don't know if this will work for you but for me it's perfect and I love that it's not because again I won't lose it in the middle of the night. 1000% recommend! Have only used it for a couple of days, but it works great with my Nook Paperwhite. It came charged. And getting going was as easy as clipping the component on the Nook, sliding the ring on my finger, and clicking the button to turn the page. Easy peasy. Now I can lie in bed without having to move my arm while I read. New level of laziness! (It also comes with a nice little bag to keep the two components and the charging cord in.) Read more

EDIT: I changed to 5 stars because I found out the "Page Refresh" setting was off on my Kindle Paperwhite. After turning it on it now works perfectly every time! I really wanted to like this. When it works it's great. The ring is unobtrusive, and I can use my hand without losing it. It pairs instantly. However, half the time I must press it 2-5 times, and sometimes it never turns the page. I've tried cleaning the rubber pad, charging both fully, repositioning the clip, but nothing helps. It seems to work better if I touch the metal part of the charging port while pressing the button, but that defeats the purpose. Unfortunately I'm 30 days past the return window, so I'll be buying a different brand. Read more
