Excellent! Modal boxers are the most comfortable thing I've ever worn. Better than wearing nothing, Because, the pouch kepts things from getting all mixed up together. They seem like they won't last too long since they are so thin and soft, but that is also what makes them so comfortable, and since they are affordable, I am fine with that. Just wish they would get black color back in stock. It's worth noting that I also bought another design by the same company, but it was so much smaller than this one it had to be returned. OK, these are clearly a quality product. It took me two tries to get the size right (beware: they run small, so order a size larger than you need). But do not be fooled into thinking these are boxer shorts. They are, rather, a classier, more modern re-interpretation of tighty whities. My wife says – “Wow they look great! Not like those grandpa shorts you buy from Coscto.” Yeah. But who cares how I look in my underwear? I mean, she’s the only one who sees me without my pants. If it’s going to get me more “attention” from her, then fine. But I suspect achieving that would take mink or diamonds and not new undershorts. In the end these shorts are, as my Dad used to say, like the Biltmore hotel. And if you don’t know the punch line of that joke, you are clearly not a fellow aging baby boomer. Bottom line – I will give them a try and report back after a month. Because let it not be said that an old dog can’t learn new tricks. PS. Check out the printing on the Ezy-off tag – you know those infuriating tags that irritate your skin if you don’t remove them, yet tearing them off destroys the stitching? It says “Tear off along the line or give it to your mother, she knows how to do it.” I would be insulted except I’m laughing too hard. And, oh, the shi shi foo foo packaging? I LOVE these. I purchased two more packs since I bought my initial sets. I need one more pack but they're just SO expensive so I'm waiting. I really want another set! They're very comfortable. Because I'm FTM, I sew a little pouch to the inside for packing and the H-fly makes it possible to carry around an STP. These are tight to the body without being too tight and they're smooth. One thing I hate about underwear is the bending over - these do not do that. They don't roll at the top or at the bottom. It has taken me forever to find an underwear that i really like and these are it! I am a dude with thick thighs, okay, and these do not care about that. They fit nicely around my thighs and waist. I'm so happy with these. My only complaint (and this isn't the underwear's fault) is that I've lost a bunch of weight and I'm going to have to buy 9 new pairs soon! I've had them for over a year and they're the only underwear I ever wear. I'm going to cry if David Archey every goes under. These are my current top underwear. David Archy undies seem more thoughtfully designed than most, like maybe they actually wear them and improve them. All of the details are ideal - waistband is soft, stays put, doesn’t scratch, inner tag tears off without a trace, legs stay down, pouch is just the right support without squeeze, and the seams are well placed and smoothly finished. The fly is horizontal above the pouch, so no extra seaming down low, and nothing will escape out the side. I don’t use the fly to pee so I don’t know how well it works for that (does anyone actually pee out the fly? Seems more awkward than anything). I only wish there come in trunks, exact style but shorter. The longer legs make for a slightly steamier region. But the Supima cotton is fantastic, and unfortunately David Archy doesn’t make many options in cotton. Modal, bamboo, rayon all are too stretchy and non-absorbent for my liking. Read more
