I get this from the dentists office but it’s $45 for one pack. Much better deal on here! I had a mouth piece custom fitted so these are just refills. Not sure how well it would work without the trays but I’m assuming you could make one from a mold at a big box store or online This is the best whitener for me because I can wear it for 30-60 minutes at night and it doesn’t leave many sever white spots. If there are any they’re gone my morning. Natural but effective whitener without any sensitivity. Have been using this product line for years. Moderate sensitivity after multiple consecutive days of whitening, but dissipates after a day off. Only 4 star because the description said 12-18 month expiration date; the product I received was a 10-month expiration. I'll probably use it before it expires, but something to keep in mind. i got this from my dentist a few years back, and thought it was time to use it again. happy that i found it on amazon. I had my trays from 3 years ago, and this time just ordered the 9%. at first i noticed my gums were stinging a bit - not nice. i read on the Discuss Dental web site that the teeth trays do not need to cover the gum line, mine did, so i trimmed them to just cover my teeth. problem solved. regarding quantity, I'm getting 7 to 8 applications from one syringe. on the packet it says 3 applications per syringe. basically i only really needed one packet with three syringes not the two packets that i got. i only put gel on the front facing side of the tray (don't need bleach on the back of my teeth). my trays cover all my teeth, i exclude the back two teeth from bleaching since my smile no matter how big never shows those teeth. maybe that's why i get so much use from a single syringe. last note, the results are pretty quick, my teeth after 6 applications are noticeably whiter.
