This smart plug is very functional in allowing you to control items with your voice. It’s great for things that can be hard to reach to turn on and off. The plug is very easy to connect. You have to be on 2.4 GHz WiFi. You download an app then the plug pairs easily through Bluetooth. You can then use voice commands by adding it to an Alexa app or Google. I don’t think it has timer capabilities. It’s a good value for a smart plug and the efficiency it offers, especially being a 2-pack. I have several lamps plugged into smart plugs, and even a fan. One suggestion: since this plug works with a specific app, you may want to take a permanent marker and write the name of the app on it if you have smart plugs that all use different apps. That way, if you lose connectivity and have to re-pair, you’ll know what app you need. The media could not be loaded. DayBetter Smart Plug,pack of 2 is so handy to me. I am glad I picked up this set. Like most smart plugs they require a 2.4 GHz wi-fi and are rated for 25 amps and 1800W. At 2.5x1.5 they are a long rectangle shape but 2 will fit into 1 outlet if you choose. I mostly use my smart plugs plugged into power straps at chicken houses or the pond .these still fit fine in power strips as well. These smart plugs come with good instruction sheet plus qr codes to download apps or even more instructions and videos. Nice to have some extra help if you having trouble. My setup went very smooth. I downloaded the Android Google store DayBetter app, registered and logged in, added some Test Name for each plug. I added the devices to my Google home app (no alexia here) With Google home I could use voice commands for each plug as well. Pretty smooth setup. The DayBetter app has a smooth easy interface. There you can set schedules , timers ,countdowns, cyclic tasks ,sunrise/sunset and even vacation mode ! After setup and some testing inside on a light, I ready to put them to work in chicken house tonight!
