We've had two air cleaners for over 2 years and change out the filters every 6 mos. I didn't think we had that much dust floating around unti we changed the filters the first time. Unbelievable! These filters were also put to the test when we had new floors installed. Tearing out tile and carpet left a huge amount of dust, but these filters were up to the challenge. They did a great job and we didn't suffer any allergy symptoms from the dust. We also notice that we don't need to dust quite as often. Maybe can go close to two weeks before a good dusting is needed These do a great job. The house carries no smells and the air quality is fresh. The air cleaners are mostly quiet unless there is a rush of purification needed in that space due to cooking. We love the air cleaners, but the filters are what make the difference. Read more

BOught this dayette filter system in the spring, took months to fill up the filter ( it was really packed with dust, ugh!. , replaced it with a dayette filter so it fits exactly. easy to replace. this thing really works as I am allergic to dust mites and my coughing is wayyyy down since I started with it. filter is a bit pricy, but worth using the correct one. We have an electrical issue preventing a few appliances in the kitchen from working - that includes the stove’s hood, which keeps the kitchen from becoming a stinky, smoky mess. I won’t go into the Dayette purifier itself, but it works well. I bought an extra filter at the same time as the purifier. We don’t usually run it 24/7 so it’s lasted us longer than the usual 4-6 recommended months. When the HEPA light came on, I was dreading filter replacement but it was easy. Great filter! I use it in my bedroom because I have a lot of allergies. I noticed a difference in the first week. Be sure to use a humidifier, but don't put them close together. The air filter will think the humidifier is polluting the environment. Read more
